Scene One

Narrator:

Think of the time,
Twenty Seventy Nine,
War has raged,
And the Eides caged.
Humans fought the robot man,
Destroying them wherever they can,
The cyborgs called themselves a name,
The Eides rose, and won the game.

To mix with Eides is not allowed,
Humans stand alone and proud.
The Eidos War, a species fight,
Showed the ones with greater might.

On this,
The brink,
Will humans
Sink?
And the Eides
Win the world?

Win Paradigm:

Let us live in peace.

Graves:

The Council won’t allow it,
Humans live like subway rats.
The Council won’t allow it,
Underground, with you like cats.

Win Paradigm:

Let us live in peace.
We hunt you,
As you hunt us.
Human men
Began this,
Don’t forget.

Graves:

The Council won’t allow it,
Humans have destructive pride.
The Council won’t allow it,
We have hubris that consumes.

Win Paradigm:

It’ll take you to your death.
I cannot stop this sliding slope
That you are skiing down.
I beg you!

Stop with your strikes,
Stop with your spikes
Stop with your scars.
Stop your revenge.

We don’t want to your death.
We want peace but not at cost
To our liberty and our lives.
Don’t make us take your breath.

Scene Two (4:19)

Adam Frogstaff :

Open up the Council
Of Sub-Terranean Survivors.
Tell us now,
What find you, Graves,
On the surface?

Graves:

A dark wind blows
In from the Eides camp.
Murder is in their circuitry.
Sir, we will not survive.
What brings us to this now?
This dark and dangerous time,
Where we will have to bow,
And tow the Eides line.

Are humans all so bad?
With hate and fear
That sends us mad,
And hurries death, so near.

The Eides dream of life,
Where they can live complete,
Without the human knife
Cutting them to robot meat.

Terri Lard:

If only we could eat them!
We’d not hunger so.

Frogstaff:

We have fought,
We will fight,
We will destroy.

Chorus:

We have fought,
We will fight,
We will destroy.

Frogstaff:

I have led my army,
My human army,
Into the abyss of
Robot Hell
And seen ahead the destruction.

Chorus:

We have fought,
We will fight,
We will destroy!

Terri Lard:

Down with the robots!
Circuitry is rotten!
Down with the robots!
Humans are forgotten!

Frogstaff:

Take down the demon,
Metal
Beast!
Hear me Council, listen well!
When they first desired their freedom,
We stopped the tide with plugs of firey spite,
And on we fight!

Terri Lard:

Down with the robots!
Melt their metal spines!
Down with the robots!
Execute them for their crimes!

Graves:

This is a trite and petty war,
We can join together, one thriving race,
A better force for good,
Eides and the humans.
Yeah….!

Terri Lard:

We will never join them!
We will never join them!
We will never join them!
They are pestilence!
War!
And famine!

Chorus:

Down with the robots!
Circuitry is rotten!
Down with the robots!
Humans are forgotten!

(Repeat)

Scene Three (10:58)

Win Paradigm:

How long have we to go?
Can I convince them no?
In seas of boiling human blood,
With the bones,
The bones and mud.

I’ll stand with real regret
Of grief,
Of grief and debt,
To the humans that cared,
The ones we could have spared.

Marc-us 1000:

We are running out of time,
We will not stand here for long,
Tide and seas are running high,
We have to do this now.

Tick Tom 800:

The 1000 is right,
His logic is clear,
We can’t let this run out,
Destruction is near.

Win:

Take heed! They’re not all bad!
There’s at least one,
And if there is one,
There are more,
I swear!

Marc-us 1000:

They are not to be trusted!
Humans are disloyal!

Tom:

A race suffused with
Dirt and betrayal.

Marc-us 1000:

Do not trust them, Win.

Tom:

Many years ago,
Before Eides wanted life,
There was a man that promised,
Swore on his children’s life,
That he could be trusted,
He was a treacherous man,
A killing man.
That day I made an oath,
That I would seek freedom
For our kind.

Marc-us 1000:

Humans cannot be trusted.

Tom:

Hear me, Win,
Humans are a plague on
Liberty.

Doctor:

I have the answer!
I have the cure!
I found the root of all their
Evil!

It’s in their brains!
It’s in their brains!

Deep in a closed off part,
Connected with their frantic hearts.
I can take away their
Greed and violence!

It’s in their brains!
It’s in their brains!

We can stop this war

Igor-bot:

It’s a small operation!

Doctor:

There can be peace.

Igor-bot:

It’s a small operation!

Doctor:

I have found the answer!
I have found the cure!
I have found the root of all their
Evil!

It’s in their brains!
It’s in their brains!

Win:

Wonderous news!

Marc-us 1000:

Incredible news!

Win:

A chance to start again.
Together!
Human and Eides.

Chorus:

It’s in their brains! (Repeat)

Tom:

They will not accept this.
Humans will not be stopped.
They like war.
They enjoy the fear.
They need the beating,
Need the fleeting,
Crying grief that conflict brings them.
They feed off death.

Doctor:

I can take that all away.

Igor-bot:

It’s a small operation!

Doctor:

The desire and the fear.

Igor-bot:

It’s a small operation!

Chorus:

It’s in their brains! (Repeat)

Tom:

It will not be.

Win:

We will give them a choice.
The Doctor’s operation,
Or face a grim and dirty death.

Scene Four (19:50)

Terri:

Down with the robots!
Melt their metal spines!
Down with the robots!
Execute them for their crimes!

Chorus:

Down with the robots!
Circuitry is rotten!
Down with the robots!
Humans are forgotten!

Graves:

Fellows! Fellows!
We have a choice.
We can have freedom!

Fellows! Fellows!
We have a choice.
We can have freedom!

Frogstaff:

We will not succumb
To this ‘operation’.
They will make us slaves!

Terri:

Screaming nations!
Electronic bile!
Screaming nations!
Electronic bile!

We are freer as subway rats,
Than as their subjugated cats.
We will rise again.
Will walk the earth again,
Standing strong and proud,
Or death we must face.
Death with all her
Rusty visions.

Screaming nations!
Electronic bile!
Screaming nations!
Electronic bile!

The robots will not suffer
To murder an entire species.
They cannot declare such
Reckless destruction.

An operation to make us slaves!
An operation to make us slaves!

They cannot be trusted.
They cannot be trusted.
They cannot be trusted.

We will not trust them.
We will not trust them.
We will not trust them.

Screaming nations!
Electronic bile!

Stand strong with me.
Stand proud with me.

Screaming nations!
Electronic bile!

Stand strong with me.
Stand proud with me.

Stand against the killer robots.

Chorus:

Down with the robots!
Circuitry is rotten!
Down with the robots!
Humans are forgotten!

Scene Five (24:30)

Humans (background):

Down with the robots!
Circuitry is rotten!
Down with the robots!
Humans are forgotten!

1000:

Win, they come.
Over hill and ragged vale,
They march.

Tom:

This must be done,
Press the button.

Win:

How many Doctor?
Who comes for grace?

Doctor:

None.

Win:

Not one?

Doctor:

None.

Win:

Then it is done.

Marc-us 1000:

Humans are forgotten.
